SEUS aka Sonic Ether’s Unbelievable Shaders is a shaders pack for popular game Minecraft which is used with OptiFine or GLSL shaders Mod (Legacy). The shaders pack is visually aesthetic. The shaders pack change the graphic of the game to a beautiful realistic Minecraft.

The PTGI version of SEUS Shaders is an experimental version of SEUS that includes custom software implementation of ray tracing. The advantage of using ray tracing is that it does not require an RTX graphics card and will work on any NVIDIA graphics card. Please note that low-end cards may still struggle with performance, while AMD compatibility is still being under work. Tge PTGI stands for “Path Traced Global Illumination”, which is the main feature of this project which includes raw traced reflections.

How to install SEUS:

  1. Download and install Minecraft;
  2. Setup your game profile for the version you want to run;
  3. Download and install Optifine; – optifine will create its own profile
  4. Open Minecraft launcher and select the newly created optifine profile;
  5. Download the SEUS shaderpack from the links below;
  6. Launch Minecraft;
  7. Open Options > Video Settings > Shaders > Shaderpack folder;
  8. Put the SEUS shaderpack (zipped file) inside .minecraftshaderpacks;
  9. Select the Sonic Ether’s Unbelievable shaders in the shader list in-game;
